A CLOSER LOOK

The magic of pole fitness

At InShape Ladies Fitness, our pole fitness classes are a celebration of strength, grace, and self-expression. In our women-only, judgment-free room, first-timers can focus on learning at their own pace. You'll find a supportive community where women support women in every move and milestone. We believe every shape is beautiful, and our classes are designed to uplift and inspire. Whether you're spinning for the first time or perfecting your form, you'll be cheered on by fellow members who understand and celebrate your journey as you embrace your power and potential.

Your path from beginner to pro

Starting with Intro, no experience is needed. You will learn the basics of strength, climbing, and spins. As you progress to Beginner, you will build on these essentials, preparing for more complex movements. Intermediate is where you master the climb, pole sit, and chair rotation, then take on inverting without jumping, working through tucks and holds toward leg hangs. Each level is designed to build your skills progressively, ensuring you feel confident and ready for the next step on your pole journey.

Choreography and pole yoga: find your style

Pole Choreography invites you to explore sensual floorwork and low-flow movement, with a new dance each week. Heels are optional, and knee protection is recommended, allowing you to move safely and comfortably. Pole Yoga takes the opposite route, combining traditional yoga shapes and flow while using the pole for both support and a new challenge. It is a calmer way into the pole room and a good complement at any level. Both classes offer a supportive atmosphere where you can express yourself freely.

Your first class and what to wear

Stepping into your first pole class might feel a bit daunting, but remember: we all have to start somewhere. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, where women support women. Wear shorts to help your skin grip the pole effectively. Heels are entirely optional, so feel free to stick to bare feet if that is more comfortable. Avoid using lotion or oils on class day to ensure a good grip. Bring water to stay hydrated and come with an open mind, ready to discover the joy of movement in a women-only space.

Building strength and confidence

Over time, pole fitness transforms not just your physical strength but your self-confidence too. In our women-only room, you will develop real upper-body and core strength. Each session helps you become more aware of your body's capabilities. As you progress, you will notice a boost in confidence that spills over into everyday life. Every body type and age is welcome, and with consistent practice, you will find a supportive environment where every shape is celebrated and personal growth is encouraged.

We all have to start somewhere, and at InShape, you are embraced just as you are. Our women-only classes ensure a comfortable, encouraging environment. Remember, every shape is beautiful, and there is a place for everyone here. Come as you are, without fear or hesitation, and join a community ready to uplift and inspire you on your pole fitness journey.
